TRCA has a variety of conservation areas where school programs are operated, but the problem they faced was that the booking and payment system for their programs was being managed offline using a ‘submit request for callback’ method.
In addition, there was no centralized database to manage the ‘check-in’ process on the day of the events booked.
Moreover, a VOIP system was needed to streamline telephone communications and connectivity to the team’s Lotus Notes and to integrate email communications.
The work of 604media was to implement a public-facing online booking system and integrate it with SugarCRM CE.
We chose the Rooms module in Drupal and customized it to meet the specific needs of the project.
Then, Drupal was integrated with SugarCRM to post the bookings into a custom module (Advanced Open Sales suite of 3rd party module).
