How SugarCRM can improve your workflow: case study of TSCBC (Trucking Safety Council of BC)

TSCBC is an organization dedicated to improving health and safety in B.C.’s trucking industry. The council offers a variety of programs and services intended to improve industry safety performance and to reduce injuries and fatalities in the transportation industry.


As the organization was relatively new, the business was managed with a variety of spreadsheets and disconnected emails and without a method of tracking the various activities in a centralized database.

The Solution: SugarCRM Professional

They eventually chose SugarCRM to resolve the situation: 604media was contracted to install and configure SugarCRM Professional On-Site with multiple users on their license (they have subsequently added more users).
The supplied MS Outlook plugin was installed and configured by 604media to connect their existing MS Exchange mail services to SugarCRM.


In addition, 604media developed a series of custom modules to manage the unique workflow of the organization and provided training on the integration of their email systems and general Sugar usage.

The result was fully positive: thanks to SugarCRM, the team was enhanced with a unique system and the organization workflow was improved and sped up.
